Founded by Thierry G. Eck, STAARS Leadership helps organizations strengthen their leadership culture and develop managers who are authentic, aligned, and effective.
With more than 40 years of experience leading and managing multicultural teams across Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Canada, my career has been shaped by one core belief:

I founded STAARS Leadership to support executives, managers, and HR professionals who want to build organizations that are aligned, engaging, and meaningful.
My approach is grounded in the balance between emotional intelligence and strategic intelligence — a leadership that blends heart and mind.
Professional Background
Before dedicating myself fully to coaching and leadership transformation, I spent 40 years in senior executive roles within international hospitality organizations, serving as a General Manager, Regional Director, and founding Director of the Panama International Hotel School.
These experiences gave me a deep, firsthand understanding of the challenges leaders face every day: sustaining performance while protecting motivation, trust, and team cohesion.
Trained in hospitality management, I also hold a bachelor’s degree in education — a foundation that shaped the way I teach, facilitate, and develop human potential. I later completed a Master’s-level management program at Colorado State University, along with two executive leadership certifications from Cornell University and the University of Memphis.
This unique combination of pedagogy and management allows me to blend academic rigour with real-world experience in every program I deliver. I am also accredited as a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) by the AHLA, underscoring my commitment to excellence in training, management, and leadership development.
